#TriRFTC: Still running… just virtually
In light of the recent progression of COVID-19, and the CDC guidance to postpone mass gatherings, we decided to transition the 2020 Susan G. Komen Tri-Cities Race for the Cure to a VIRTUAL Race for the Cure.
As you can imagine, during the healthiest of times, breast cancer patients must be very careful about germs and remaining isolated during treatment. Often, due to illness or side-effects they must miss work. So now more than ever, they need our show of community support. The money raised through this event will help patients in the Tri-Cities even after COVID-19 is behind us.
